PERSONAL PROJECT EXHIBITION
On Wednesday the 20th of February the Grade Ten students showcased their Personal Projects. The Personal Project holds an important place in
the MYP as it reflects the students’ experience of the programme. It provides an excellent opportunity for them to produce a truly personal
and creative work of their choice and to demonstrate the skills acquired through the five years of MYP.
Through the presentation of Personal Projects to family, friends, faculty, and advisors, the students had the opportunity to share their
products and walk guests through their journey of self-directed learning, research and application. The diversity of the students’ interests
was evident in this year’s scientific, sporting, engineering, cultural and artistic projects.
The spread of projects was a true representation of the different learners that make up our 10th grade student population. In addition to the
Grade Ten students and their families, Grade Five and Grade Nine students also attended the evening giving them excellent insight into the
range of potential subjects they can explore next year.
