QAD STUDENTS CREATING A NICHE AT THE NATIONAL WEEK OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH COMPETITION

QAD students represented their school in the National Week of Scientific Research. There were many competitions in this event, which included the Astronomy Olympiad, the Adventure of the Mind and the Science Fair. The events concluded with honoring young researchers in Qatar.

We congratulate Amr Ahmed and Maytham Haji in Grade 11 for their selection in the finals under the category of the Chemistry and Materials science competition.

We would also like to congratulate Sama Ayoub and Khadija Al-Mugarmid for winning the first place in the scientific research competition for designing a device for autistic children and application for parents in order to enhance communication with these children. For this achievement, they have been invited to attend international science exhibitions-Intel ISEF held in Phoenix, USA in May and the London Science Fair in UK in July.

These opportunities are not only huge achievements; they give us an opportunity to display the rich talent we have and put QAD and the community on a world forum.

QAD is extremely proud of its students’ achievements and accolades.
