Dedication, expertise, and commitment—these are the hallmarks that define Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Thani. As the Director of the Department of NCDs Preventive Programs at the Ministry of Public Health, his visionary leadership has shaped Qatar's preventive health landscape, leaving an indelible mark on the nation's well-being.

An Associate Professor of Clinical Healthcare Policy and Research at Weill Cornell Medical College and Qatar University, Dr. Al Thani's journey is a testament to the pursuit of excellence. His academic prowess was honed at Cairo University, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1998. A steadfast thirst for knowledge led him to complete a fellowship in the Arab Board Program in Community Medicine in 2006, followed by a prestigious Fellowship from the Faculty of Public Health in London in 2010.

Elevating his prowess beyond medicine, Dr. Al Thani obtained a Master's in Business Administration in 2014 from HEC Paris, a testament to his multifaceted approach to healthcare leadership.

Over the past decade, Dr. Al Thani has spearheaded clinical research studies, advocating for ethical and safe practices. His pursuit of an integrated approach to health prevention and promotion has resulted in the publication of over 60 articles in esteemed journals, including The Lancet Global Health, BMJ, and BMC Public Health, among others.

His visionary impact reverberates beyond academia. Dr. Al Thani played a pivotal role in the formulation of Qatar's Public Health Strategy 2017-2022 and contributed significantly to the National Health Strategy 2018-2022. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership by heading national committees that facilitate Qatar's transformation from curative healthcare to a robust preventive health governance system.

Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Thani's legacy is one of empowerment and innovation. His tireless efforts have not only elevated the realm of preventive health but have also provided of well-being for the nation. With each endeavor, he exemplifies that leadership and excellence are not mere aspirations but a way of life, inspiring others to tread the path of visionary impact.

Saleh is the Vice President and Director for Government and Public Affairs at ExxonMobil Qatar ltd.  He received B.S. in Political Science from Portland State University in 1981 and began his career with the former Ministry of Finance and Petroleum in 1982 as an economic researcher.  Saleh took part in a three-month course at the OPEC headquarters in 1983 and represented Qatar at OPEC meetings with the Qatari delegation during 1983-1986. In 1986, Saleh joined Amoco Qatar Production Company as Public Affairs Specialist responsible for community programs and facilitating senior management meetings, a role he assumed until 1992. 

In 1993, Saleh joined Mobil Oil Qatar as Public Affairs Manager.  In 2000, he became Director of Public Affairs, ExxonMobil Qatar, and in 2009 he became Vice President and Director of Government and Public Affairs, ExxonMobil Qatar.  Saleh is also Vice president of ExxonMobil Research Qatar, which is a research center located at the Qatar Science and Technology Park.

Eng. Mohammed held various positions in QIA since 2007 to present. He worked as a Deputy Head of Business Development Department, Associate Director / Portfolio Manager (General Portfolio Department), and Investment Analyst (Risk Department). Eng. Mohammed has an extensive experience in many projects in other companies prior to joining QIA during the period from 2001 – 2007 as a Project Engineer in Qatar Petroleum and Dolphin Energy.

Dr. Noor Al-Maadeed is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Qatar University. In 2014 she received her PhD in Engineering from Brunel University. She has been a lecturer of Computer Engineering at Qatar University since 2001. Dr. Noor has participated in a number of regional and international conferences and has published a number of research papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and patents.

She has improved the relationship between academia and the industry by leading many research projects, both domestically and abroad, totaling over 8 million QAR in her fields of specialization: image processing, speech, speaker recognition, intelligent pattern recognition, video-surveillance systems, and biometrics.

She has received the following awards: the Qatar Education Excellence Platinum Award for new PhD holders from Highness the Emir of Qatar in 2014-2015, the Premium Award from IET Biometrics in 2017, and the Barzan Award in 2019, as well as others.

She is a member of the first batch Qatar Leadership Center, the "Current and Future Leaders Program, as well as a member of the Qatar University Senate, as well as other committees. She is a member of various international associations such as the IET, the IEEE, BA, and the IAENG.

Dr. Noor participates in activities which connect her to the community, such as working with charities and volunteering in sport events.

Mohammed Ismail AlEmadi is the General Manger of the Wholesale Banking Group at Masraf AlRayan since 2018. Mohammed holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Finance from The Gorge Washington University (Washington DC) in 2007.

Mohammed Started his Career in 2007 at Masraf AlRayan where he occupied several roles. Assistant Relationship Manger SME from 2007 to 2009, Relationship Manger Government and Sami Government 2009 -2012, Senior Relationship Manger Gov and Sami Gov from 2012 to 2013, Executive Manger Head of Government and Sami government sector in 2013, Assistant General Manger Head of Corporate from 2015 to 2018.

Abeer Al-Khalifa began her academic career at Qatar University’s English Language Teaching Unit, then entered the teaching profession in local schools in 2000 as an English instructor. In 2004, she started serving as a coordinator, where she managed the teaching department. In 2005, her achievements led to her being appointed as principal and later as director.

She joined Pre-University Education, Qatar Foundation, in 2011 as a project manager and established Qatar Academy Sidra as her first project. In her subsequent years at QF, she established the National Programs department and improved Qatar Foundation Schools' curriculum development processes to empower student learning. As Executive Director of Academic Affairs, she led the Educational Development Institute, which offered professional development workshops and consultation services to the education community. Later, she transitioned to the role of Executive Director of QF Schools, overseeing both educational and operational aspects of all Qatar Foundation schools. Since 2021, she has been the President of Pre-University Education, leading the K-12 portfolio of Qatar Foundation holistically.

Abeer Al-Khalifa holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a Bachelor's in English Literature from Qatar University. She also completed an Educational Leadership Program from the Ministry of Education and High Education and a Management Leadership Program from Oxford University.
