Welcome to Qatar Academy Doha,

Qatar Academy Doha is a learning community with a clear purpose: to empower young people to thrive, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. Located in the heart of Education City, our school is connected to one of the most dynamic educational ecosystems in the region—surrounded by innovation labs, world-class universities, research centers, cultural institutions, and a network of outstanding QF schools.

As we celebrate our thirtieth anniversary, we remain proud for being the school founded under the visionary leadership of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasse, to embody Qatar Foundation’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and human development. Today, our mission aligns closely with QF’s ambition to prepare future-ready learners who are grounded in strong values, supported by inclusive systems, and inspired to take action.

As an IB Continuum School, QAD offers a rigorous academic program complemented by a rich co-curricular life. Our multicultural and highly skilled faculty cultivates curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity, while nurturing a culture shaped by our three core values:

QAD School Board

Qatar Academy Doha, is part of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, Qatar Foundation is governed by the Executive Board of Directors, which serve as the governing authority that appoints the Board of Advisers for Qatar Academy.

The Board and the school’s senior administrators meet monthly throughout the school year to deal with major management issues and to affirm its commitment to provide the highest possible standard of education to its students.
