WORLD MATH TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Our students participants in the World Math Team Championships in Bangkok returned this week .
Effectively, the top students from all around the world were competing against each other both individually and as teams. We were one of the
few teams that sent students from one school. Most other teams were selected from the country they represented. our team did really well and
represented Qatar and Qatar Foundation with great maturity and responsibility.
The final results will be out within the next. Usama Usman received a bronze medal for finishing in the top 100 students, while Tanya Shibu
received a silver medal, it is confirmed that Tanya finished ahead of four of the top six students in USA. There were also distinction
certificates awarded to Yoojin Kim and Sergo Oganesyan.
The organizers of the event were stunned with the success of all our students.
